A BMW car was stolen during a burglary in Barton.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following the burglary at a property in Church Meadows, in Barton.
It is believed the incident took place sometime between 11.30pm on Tuesday and 5am yesterday (Wednesday).
A BMW, registration NY19JNX, was taken during the raid.
A police spokesperson said: “We would like to reassure the community that we are working to identify the person or people responsible and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious to contact the police.
“Your information will be looked at thoroughly and could really help our enquiries.”
