Brothers aim to raise £1,000 for new sports pavilion by walking Three Peaks

Two brothers have set themselves the challenge of raising £1,000 to help build a sports pavilion for their junior football club.

Connor Cook, 12, and ten-year-old Ryan both pay for Catterick Garrison Football Centre.

The club is hoping to build a pavilion at its ground in Smuts Road, Catterick Garrison.

And the boys have set themselves the challenge of walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks to help.

Mum Rebecca said: The club, which is run by a group of fabulous volunteers, are trying to raise funds to build a pavilion, as currently there are no facilities whilst matches and tournaments are being held.

“The boys have come up with an idea, that they themselves would like to help to raise some funds towards this.

“They are going to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks, dragging mum and dad along.

“Due to their size, and dad currently working away with the military, we’ve decided it’s best they do one climb over three consecutive weekends.”
