An appeal has gone out after a load of building rubble was dumped in Wensleydale.
The pile was reported by a member of the public near Spennithorne on Tuesday.
The incident comes a week after several sofas were fly-tipped between Leyburn and Catterick Garrison.
This story continues after the adverts:
fly-tipping carries a fine of up to £50,000 or an offender can be sent to prison.
The person controlling the use of the vehicle can also be prosecuted, which means that it is possible for a prosecution to occur when only the vehicle, not the driver, is identifiable.
