Burglary in Richmond prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a house was burgled in Richmond.

It happened in Theakston Lane between 9.45pm and 11pm on Wednesday.

Police say the house was broken into and property was stolen.

As part of the investigation, officers are appealing for information about any vehicles or persons in the area of Theakston Lane during this time.

A spokesman added: “We are also asking motorists who travelled on this road to check dash cams for any suspicious behaviour.”
