Cabaret night to raise funds for local charities

A cabaret night will be held in Richmond next month to raise funds for charity.

The event is being staged at Richmondshire Cricket Club on Saturday, February 10.

It is being organised by local events company Already Sorted.

It will raise money for several charities including Colburn Food Share, Refuge and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Tim Tavanyar, from Already Sorted, said: “Our focus is providing stage, sound and lights, band equipment, large scale venue transformation theming, dining décor and live entertainment.

“Well established in doing that regularly for customers, we are inspired by what ordinary people can make possible by reaching out, looking out for each other, and standing up together.

“So we are using our assets and talent proactively to launch our own Solidarity events, in order to help make a big difference to local lives.

“We are creating places to provide good-hearted inclusive fun for a whole range of people in our community to enjoy.”

Showgirls will be promoting the event in Richmond Market Place this Saturday.
