
Firefighters were called out after a crash crashed off the A1 onto another road and burst into flames.
The incident happened on the A1 near Leeming at about 8.30pm yesterday.
The vehicle crashed into the central reservation and then veered off the road and on to the A6055.

The only occupant was out of the car on the arrival of firefighters from Bedale and Northallerton.
The motorist suffered only minor injuries.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and small tools to extinguish the vehicle which set on fire shortly after the impact, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
