A car left the road and crashed into a field near Half Penny House over the weekend.
The red Volkswagen crashed on a corner, going through a metal road sign before going down a small bank and through a fence on the road between Richmond and Leyburn.
It is not known if anyone was injured in the incident.
The car had ‘police aware’ tape on it yesterday morning.

Leyburn to Bellerby and also to Middleham and to Wensley would be most welcome. Catterick Garrison already has cycle routes but many cyclists seem not to be able to find them and continue to use the main roads and cause traffic hold ups on a regular basis.
