More than 30 children from Catterick military families will perform tonight at the Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finals.

Children from the Catterick-based Service Children’s Military Choir will join others from around the country as part of the Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir on the live show.

The semi-finals are taking place every night this week at 8pm on ITV.

Members of the choir are urging the public to vote and give them a chance of making the final.

The choir is made up of six to 18-year-olds whose parents are serving or have served in the military.

The choir received a standing ovation from the Britain’s Got Talent judges when they performed in the first round last month.

The song, titled Welcome Home, was written by the children and is aimed at bringing families together whose parents are out on deployment.
