Catterick Police Cadets have visited estates around Catterick Garrison to talk to residents about home security, crime prevention and property marking.
This was the first time many of the cadets had been out in the community and leaders say it was a great success.
A spokesperson for the Richmondshire neighborhood policing team said: “Thank you to the homeowners that took time to speak to our young people.”
North Yorkshire Police will soon be recruiting more cadets ready for a September 2022 start.
