Le Cateau CP School is inviting current and former pupils to help it celebrate its 50th anniversary tomorrow.
The former Le Cateau Infant School and Junior School came together in April 1972 to form Le Cateau CP School.
An open day will be this Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
The school is inviting current and former students and governors to explore the site, visit the classroom and reminisce on their time at Le Cateau.
Guests can have a look round the classrooms, find out the history of the school and view the presentations done by current pupils.
In the school playing field there will be face painting.
On the back of their Britain’s Got Talent success, the Service Children’s Community Choir will be performing some of their songs.
There will also be a variety of stalls including refreshments, tombola, and plants to help raise funds for the many clubs run here at Le Cateau.
