Year 1 children from Wavell Community Schools’ Federation have collected a whopping 168 empty glue stick tubes this week.
Collection points were placed in classrooms at the beginning of the summer term.
The so-called ‘glue gang’ then went around the school and collected them all ready for recycling this week.
The school said: “”They will be not be going to landfill which is something we at school are very proud of.”
