Catterick Village comes together for Remembrance Sunday service

There was a packed church at St Anne’s in Catterick Village with the Royal Artillery, Royal Engineers, RAF, North Yorkshire Police and 1st Catterick St Anne’s Beavers among the groups represented.

Cllr Simon Young said there was an amazing turn out from both serving and non serving residents.

He added: “I am exceptionally proud that Catterick Village has once again hosted such an event that allows people to show there respect to those who fought, allowing our country it’s freedom we have today.”

Cllr Young said Huge appreciation went to Colin Brown Landscaping and his team for making the village green look spectacular and to the parish council for their continued support.

“Without question a massive thanks goes to our reverend Lindsay from st Anne’s for what is always an amazing service,” he added.
