Catterick Village Theatre Company to stage comedy farce

Rehearsals for Habeas Corpus.

Following their sell-out pantomime Cinderella in February, Catterick Village Theatre Company are preparing for their next show, the comedy Habeas Corpus by Alan Bennett.

Set in the home of the esteemed Dr Arthur Wicksteed, the farce aims to have the audience in hysterics as the tale of hidden pregnancies, throbbing vicars and saucy seaside antics unfolds.

Theatre Company members have been in rehearsal since April for the comedy, which looks set to be one of their most ambitious productions yet.

Tickets, priced £4.50, are available now for the production which will run for two night, July 20 and 21 at the Booth Hall, Catterick Village.

They can be purchased from The Village Pharmacy (Catterick Village), Neeps & Tatties (Richmond), from the Box Office on 07985 536177 or via the Theatre Company’s Facebook page.
