The Party in the Park due to take place in Catterick Garrison on Saturday has cancelled.
Organisers say the decision has been taken due to a forecast for bad weather at the weekend.
They said in a statement issued this morning: “It is with regret that we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s Party in the Park due to the severe weather conditions forecast for Saturday and the associated health and safety concerns.”
Thundery showers are forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening.
The event was due to feature live music, military displays, a funfair and stalls.
