Changes to polling stations proposed in Richmond, Colburn and Gayles

Residents of Colburn, Gayles and Richmond are being invited to have their say on a review of polling arrangements.

The district council is asking for comments from electors from these areas, any local constituency political parties, or any other interested parties on whether they would support or raise objections to the proposed polling arrangements to be used for elections in 2019.

Officials say the changes are needed following a boundary review last year by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE).

The proposals are available to view on the council’s website here or at the community offices.

The consultation period will last until September 28.

Comments can be sent to The Electoral Registration Officer, Richmondshire District Council, Mercury House, Station Road, Richmond, DL10 4JX; or to er.elections@richmondshire.gov.uk
