Year 9 pupils Jack Dalton, Archie Wiggan, Lewis Heywood, Dan Parker and Ben Alderson.

Work to renovate the changing rooms at the Wensleydale School has been completed.

The £250,000 scheme has seen the girls and boys changing rooms, including showers and toilet facilities, redesigned and improved.

It is the first major improvements to the changing rooms since the school was built in 1959.

Headteacher Julia Polley said the work was part of a three-year improvement scheme being carried out in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.

She said: ” We’re very proud of our new, very modern facilities.

“They will make a huge difference to student wellbeing here at the Wensleydale School.”

Pupils at the school will begin using the new facilities from Monday.
