The up and coming Swaledale Fundraising Group focuses much of its efforts on Christmas Collections, the Great Daffodil Appeal and Richmond’s annual Blooming Great Tea Party at the Town Hall.

Gemma Hewitt, Marie Curie community fundraiser, said: “If you’re highly organised, usually have a pen and paper to hand and are passionate about a charity that cares for people living with a terminal illness, then this role could be for you.

Supporting the charity gives people the opportunity to gain unforgettable experiences, immerse themselves in a new culture, face fresh challenges and obtain new skills while doing something fulfilling. So if you’re interested in the role of secretary then please get in touch.”
