Children from a Cattrick Garrison nursery have brought some Christmas cheer to the elderly.
Twenty children from Banana Moon walked to Rosedale Nursing Home to deliver 50 cards they had made.
The trip was organised by Zoe Burrows-Egan, community activity coordinator for Banana Moon and Helen McQuair, activity coordinator at Rosedale.
Zoe Burrows-Egan, from Banana Moon, said: “The aim of the visit was to reach out to the elderly residents in our community and spread some Christmas cheer.
“It was also aimed to help the children gain an understanding of their outside world.
“The staff and residents were very impressed with the lovely behaviour of the children aged 11 months to four years.”
