Children raise £250 to buy toys and clothes for Ukraine appeal

Two friends have worked together to raise £250 to help send aid to Ukraine.

Teagan Whitfield and Beth Mudd, both 10, made loomband bracelets and cupcakes to sell.

Their great auntie also helped by knitting blue and yellow poppies.

The girls sold them outside the Co-op in Catterick Village to raise funds to buy toys, underwear and essentials for the children in the Ukraine.

In total, they raised £250 and at the weekend went to Prince’s Gate at Catterick Garrison and had fun spending all the money they had raised.

Then they took all of the goods to Colburn Village Hall ready to be transported this week to Poland for distribution in Ukraine.
