The first ever cheese relay is scheduled to take part in Wensleydale and Swaledale tomorrow.
The aim is to link the two Dales of Swaledale and Wensleydale with children riding between the schools.
The pupils of an individual school will complete one leg of the relay between two schools.
The aim of the event, which is being held as part of the Cheese Festival, is to allow the schools to work together in positive way to represent the established industries of cheese making in the Dales, as well as highlighting the importance of the cycling industry to the region.
The relay will start tomorrow in Reeth at 9am. Cyclists will then travel to Leyburn, then West Burton, Askrigg and arrive in Hawes at 3pm.
There will then be a photoshoot at the national park offices at 4pm where there will be also be a baton handover to mark the end of the event.
The event has been organised by Helen Pollard from Stage 1 Cycles in Hawes.
