The magic of Mary Poppins returns to the big screen at The Station Cinema in Richmond on Sunday at 5pm as part of a special charity event
The venue will hold its latest food bank charity screening — Mary Popp-cans – where guests can exchange four canned food items for a cinema ticket.
All donations will go to the Richmond Storehouse Foodbank.
Held twice a year, the event brings the community together to enjoy a classic film while making a difference to those in need.
“We are always amazed by the generosity of the Richmondshire community and beyond,” said general manager Dan Westgarth.
“It’s a fantastic way to enjoy a heartwarming Disney classic whilst celebrating the kindness of the community & a way to bring people together for a good cause.
“Whether you’re a fan of the iconic nanny or simply want to give back, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a film and support a great cause. The Station Cinema box office is open from 11 am daily and food donations can be exchanged directly at the box office in exchange for your tickets.”
The event has been made possible thanks to the generous support of leading industry partner, Admit One & local businesses, The Wensleydale Heifer, and Shaefer PR.
If you are unable to attend but still wish to make a donation the team will be more than happy to receive this too at any time.
