Class A drugs and cash found during police raid in Richmond

Class A drugs and a large quantity of cash was found during a police raid this morning.

The warrant was exercised by offices from Richmondshire neighbourhood policing team in Richmond.

Chief Inspector David Hunter said: “If intelligence suggests that drug dealing is going on, robust action will be taken against offenders, sending a clear message to criminals that their behaviour will not be tolerated.

“Responding to the concerns of the community is paramount to keeping you safe, and making you feel safe.

“Please support the team by telling us what is happening. Tell us who is up to no good and what they are doing. If you’re plaguing Richmondshire with crime and risking the safety of others, we’re coming for you.”
