Classic family film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be screened from 35mm film at the Station Cinema in Richmond tomorrow.
The screening was prompted by the death of Sally Ann Howes, who played Truly Scrumptious in the 1968 classic.
Cinema manager Dan Westgarth said: “We are delighted that we will be screening this film from an original 35mm print on Sunday at 2.30pm in honour of her.
“As most cinemas removed their 35mm projection equipment around ten years ago, we are proud of the fact that we can still screen actual film, besides the digital format that has become the norm in cinemas.
“We will also have a reel of old ads and trailers before the film.”
Tickets are limited and available at www.stationcinema.com or at the box office, 01748 823062.
