Climate action group organises wildlife wander

The former railway line at Richmond.

Volunteers from the Richmondshire Climate Action Partnership are inviting residents to take part in a wildlife wander this Sunday.

Wildlife enthusiasts will be on hand along the popular Easby circular route to help wanderers spot wildlife and interpret the nature that they see.

This free event is suitable for all the family, and is open from 10am to 3pm, starting and finishing at The Station, Richmond.

You will be welcomed back with a complimentary tea, coffee or soft drink.

A wildlife photography competition is also being launched to coincide with the wander.

It is open to all for two weeks until May 6.

Free help and guidance from experienced photographers will be available on the wander, and the winning pictures will be displayed on the group’s website and our noticeboards on the outside wall of The Station.
