Colburn telecoms company staff complete charity skydive

Staff from Colburn-based Signal Telecom have taken part in a charity skydive in aid of the Butterwick Hospice.

The 120mph skydive took place at the Peterlee Skydive Academy and have so far raised more than £1,000 for the charity.

Lauren davies, from the comopany, said: “We chose The Butterwick Hospice after visiting the charity and seeing first-hand their fantastic work. They really do provide amazing care to families, and their support makes a huge difference to their patients.

“The majority of their running costs for the year are through donations or fundraising activities.

“Therefore we are delighted to have so far raised £1,000 and would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us. We had an incredible time and some of the team are looking at even taking it on as a hobby.”

The company are still collecting donations.
