Colour run to be held in memory of school governor

A colour run will take place tomorrow in memory of a Richmond paramedic and school leader who died earlier this year.

Mother-of-two Nickey Hebb passed away suddenly in January.

Nickey was chair of governors at Richmond Methodist School and a governor at Richmond School.

A colour run in her memory will take place at the Methodist School tomorrow from 10am.

Tickets are £3 per person with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Richmond Methodist School headteacher Sharon Stevenson said the event was a celebration of Nickey’s “life, her joy, and the deep love she had for the school community”.

She added: “Our upcoming colour run is a heartfelt tribute to Nickey Hebb, our much-loved chair of governors and a truly irreplaceable part of our school family.

“Nickey gave so much of herself to Richmond Methodist School — through her leadership, her tireless work with The Friends of RMS, her first aid workshops and the kindness and care she showed every day.

“She lived out our school value of ‘do all the good you can’ in every part of her life — with her wonderful family, as a paramedic, and a friend to so many.”
