Comedy star Tom Davis to perform warm-up shows at Georgian Theatre Royal

he Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond has announced that acclaimed comedian, actor and writer Tom Davis will perform two exclusive warm-up shows later this year.

The shows will take place on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1, at 8pm, ahead of Davis’s nationwide tour.

Best known for his starring roles in King Gary and The Curse, as well as the BAFTA and RTS Award-winning Murder in Successville, Davis is one of the UK’s most recognisable comedy talents.

He has also appeared in Wonka, Paddington 2, A Thousand Blows, A League of Their Own, Live at the Apollo and The Jonathan Ross Show. Away from the screen, he co-hosts the hugely popular Wolf & Owl podcast with fellow comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

The Richmond theatre, Britain’s oldest working playhouse in its original form, has become a regular stop for leading comedy acts. This season’s line-up also includes Josh Jones, Andy Parsons and Rob Rouse.
