Little Mints, a new group set up at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre to let both mothers and children enjoy an energetic fun session with lots of songs, rhymes, dancing and stories. Each class has a theme that will capture your child’s imagination based on a different book each week. A fantastic opportunity to make new friends and support your little ones learning and development through fun and creative activities.
Baby & Me Club at 10am, and Song Rhyme Story Time at 1pm

The Wednesday Walking Group is back. Come and join us on our circular walk of 3-5 miles. All meet at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre ready for a prompt 10am departure. The U3A Ukulele Group are strumming again. We meet every Monday at 2pm at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre. We are a happy learning group who play for enjoyment. Lunch and Chat Club in full swing again. Aimed at providing a place for people to have a two-course lunch followed by coffee and a chat in a friendly atmosphere. Slimming World is back. This is your time to shine and to get your dreams back on track. If you’d love to lose weight and feel healthier and happier, you’ll find everything you need at Slimming World held weekly at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre. Portrait Painters take up their brushes again. The group meet every Thursday at 10.30am to 12.30 pm at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre. Total membership is around 10 but for the time being attendance is limited to 5 painters per session plus 1 model. Models always welcome and will be paid £15 per session.

The Book Club is back in session. The club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month. 2.30 to 3:30 pm. at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre starting on the 9th of June

Bat to the Future. A Science Project for young people and families and featuring various interesting activities during the year. Bat Detector Kits can be hired from the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre for 5-7 days. Email on admin@leyburnartscentre.com for a simple form and free Bat Boxes which provide protective housing for the bats are now available.
Hatha Yoga with Balance and Sound Therapy. An accessible yoga practice to rebalance the nervous system, nourish the body and calm the mind. Initially, a 6-week course for beginners started on the 19th of May at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre and open to all from the 30th of June. The Tuesday Club is back at last. Getting together every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, the very popular Tuesday Club is stating again from the 25th of May. Live Cinema at The Leyburn Arts and Community Centre. Live Cinema is back at the Leyburn Arts and Community Centre with a performance of Matthew Bourne’s The Car Man. A sensational new dance event loosely based on Bizet’s popular opera Carmen, with thrilling and recognisable scores in classical music. Filmed live at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
