Community run groups in Richmondshire may be able to receive coronavirus business grant aid, district council officials say.
The Government has clarified that organisations such as community centres, halls, sports clubs, scout/guide groups may be eligible for a grant under the retail, leisure and hospitality scheme if they meet the criteria
For a grant to be considered the premises used by the organisation must be assessed for business rate purposes and a business rate bill will have been issued to them as ratepayers.
