Business and community groups across Richmondshire are preparing to come to the aid of those who have to self-isolate due the coronavirus crisis.
A number of shops have offered to deliver groceries to those in need during the epidemic.
Community groups are also being formed to ensure the vulnerable have someone to turn to.
Other organisations such as GP surgeries are also putting measures in place to ensure they are prepared for an escalation of the crisis.
Richmondshire Today is compiling a list of all businesses and groups who are offering help.
The below list is arranged alphabetically by the town or village where the business or group is based, although many of the organisations provide help and deliveries to a wider area.
The village shop is offering a delivery service within the village to elderly residents who are self-isolating. Call 01748 811408 for details.

Hawes and Upper Dales

Simonstone Hall is offering a free delivery service of its meals, with plans to also offer groceries, fresh milk, eggs and cleaning products, newspapers and prescriptions. Call 01969 667255 for details.

An action group has been formed to help residents through the George & Dragon community pub and the Little Shop. Services they can offer to the vulnerable include collection of prescriptions, delivery of essential groceries and fresh fruit and veg, post mail, have a chat on the phone. The George and Dragon is also offering takeaway and home delivery of beer and inexpensive and tasty meals.
Halls Family Butchers will take orders over the phone and deliver to your house. Call 01969 622122.
Carricks will deliver fresh produce on a Wednesday. All orders are to be placed two days in advance. The day before delivery we will call the day before to arrange payment. They are also offering a collection point at our shop in Snape where people can order in advance and collect from a collection area having paid in advance by card payment.
Leyburn Pets will operate as normal. Deliveries will be free within 10 miles of Leyburn with a minimum order of £10. Your delivery can be left at your front door or in a porch, shed, garage etc as required. Reeth & District Community Transport (Community Bus) is working with Hudson House, Reeth Medical Centre and Reeth Post Office to offer a shopping, prescription collection and delivery service for everyone that needs us.
We can collect your weekly shopping and prescriptions and deliver to your door, if you need them please call them to make arrangements. Out of the Box! has introduced a phone and collect ordering service, and when possible, offering a delivery service for a minimal charge.
