The Saddle Room Restaurant & Bell Barn in Coverdale have been nominated in two categories in the North of England wedding awards run by The Wedding Guide UK.
The venue at the family-owned Tupgill Park Estate next door to The Forbidden Corner is in the running in the best venue and best wedding coordinator categories.
The nominations have come from couples who were married at The Saddle Room and Bell Barn and the winner will be decided in September at York Racecourse following on from a mystery shopper visit.
Leo Morris, manager at The Saddle Room, said: “To be nominated for this award is really fantastic and a true testimony to my staff for their hard work and true grit dedication in making us a successful wedding venue as well as our dedicated local suppliers for providing grand Yorkshire produce.”
The site was originally race horse stables and was converted six years into a restaurant and venue for weddings and corporate events.
