The annual Coverham Church Fete will take place later this month.
The fete will be held on Sunday, May 31, from noon until 5pm at Coverham Church Field near Middleham.
Visitors can expect a packed programme of entertainment, food, competitions and family attractions, with proceeds supporting the local church.
Admission will be £5 for adults, while children will be able to attend free of charge.
Among the attractions planned are performances from Bedale Brass Band, a gun dog demonstration by Anthea Shelley and an organ recital by Felix Kirkby.
There will also be a wide range of stalls and refreshments throughout the afternoon, including cakes and savouries from Coverdale WI, a produce tent, Wensleydale Brewery refreshments, Hall’s Hog Roast and vintage gifts from Atrium Vintage Gifts.
Traditional competitions will once again form a major part of the event, with rosettes and prizes on offer across a number of categories.
These include a dog show and scurry, children’s fancy dress competition, a posy in a jam jar class, a men’s bake-off and a vintage vehicle display.
Cash entries will be accepted for the competition classes on the day, with further details available through the church’s website.
