A coworking venue is to celebrate National Freelancers Day with a special opening.
work + meet + play is a new coworking venue in Richmond run by thecitysecret and Serendipity 29.
Work meet play is open every Friday to provide an office community to encourage local businesses to work, collaborate and socialise in a unique way.
On Thursday this week it is National Freelancers Day, where the IPSE (the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self Employed), celebrate enterprising businesses within the self employed sector.
In recognition of National Freelancers day work + meet + play are opening their doors to welcome businesses and freelancers to join them for the day, for free.
Sophie Hazell, director of thecitysecret, said: ”Being self employed has its advantages, but at times it can feel isolating.
“Having the opportunity to work in an office environment and meet other businesses can help build relationships, drive innovation and encourage focus. Coworking is so important to these businesses.”
Anyone who wishes to come along to work + meet + play tomorrow can do so free of charge.
The office will be open 8.30am to 5.00pm. Places are limited so pre-booking is advised.
work + meet + play is open every Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm and the normal cost is £20 per day.
