
Firefighters were called out this afternoon after smoke was seen coming from a house in Burtersett, near Hawes.
Crews from Hawes and Leyburn were called at about 4.15pm to the incident.
The arrived to find a pan fire which they extinguished using using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
Crews from Hawes and Leyburn are currently dealing with a house fire in Burtersett. Crews currently using two breathing apparatus and hose reel.

They then used a thermal imaging camera to make sure the fire was out and and ventilated property of smoke before leaving.
