The popular Dales Archaeology Day will return on Saturday, March 21, taking place at the Key Centre in Middleham (Park Lane, Middleham, Leyburn, DL8 4RA).
The annual event will once again bring together enthusiasts, experts and community groups with an interest in the historic environment of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Visitors can expect a full programme of talks, information displays and stalls, covering a wide range of archaeological and heritage topics. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
Tickets are expected to go on sale in February via the event website, with bookings closing on 18 March. Payment will be available online or by cheque for those who prefer not to book digitally.
Organisers have confirmed there will be no cash or telephone ticket sales.
Full programme details will be announced when ticket sales open.
Anyone interested in hosting a stall or bringing a display is invited to get in touch via the dedicated event email address DalesArchaeologyDay@yorkshiredales.org.uk.
