Parents at three Dales schools are organising an online quiz to raise funds because their normal fundraising activities have had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Bainbridge, Askrigg and West Burton Schools Parent Teacher and Friends Association’s Big PTA Quiz 2020 will take place on December 6 at 6pm.
Beth Daley, from the PTA, said: “We all know that 2020 has been a year of challenges for schools, and this includes the organisations that support them.
“We have had to cancel our usual fundraising events this year — fundraising it depends on to support enrichment experiences for BAWB’s children.
“To try to make up for this loss, and to bring families together for a bit of fun as the nights draw in BAWB PTFA is holding a Big BAWB PTFA Online Qui.
“The family-friendly quiz will take place on Sunday, December 6 at 6pm.
“All the family can join in and the PTFA are encouraging friends and family elsewhere to enter too.
“Local artisans and businesses are kindly donating some great prizes for the prize winners.”
This is a ‘pay as you please’ event with a suggested donation of £10 per team, made via JustGiving.
