A Dalton man is to run 93km to raise money for Catterick Saddle Club.
Jonathan Townrow set the distance because that’s the time in months he has been involved with the club.
He said: “I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of the saddle club community for the last 93 months.
“In that time we’ve provided equestrian facilities and activities to the military community in North Yorkshire and beyond
“To raise money for the club and mark this anniversary I’m running both the Endurance Life Northumberland Ultra and Silva Lakes Traverse, 93km from St Bees to Shap and I’m looking forward to it.”
Jonathan will take on the challenge on April 1.
It’s the second long distance run challenge undertaken by Jonathan who previously ran more than 50km to raise money for the club.
