Students at the Rhythm and Shoes Dance Academy had a great time dancing in their pyjamas and Pudsey ears in aid of Children in Need this year.
As soon as the fundraising was over, the children then were straight into their Christmas performance preparations.
Hazel Richmond, academy principal, said: “Christmas is always a very busy but really magical time for us.
“This year, we have students performing in four different pantos in the area, at the Georgian Theatre, Colburn, Gilling West and Dalton.
“We also have performances booked at the Christmas Market event next Sunday and Richmond Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival on December 6.”
Hazel said the students were really excited to be supporting their local community
“They work incredibly hard and we are so proud of them all.
“We have a very busy timetable with lessons for children from two years of age through to adults so there is something for everyone.”
