Dance school continues classes on Zoom

Members of Janet Seymour's School of Theatre Dance take part in a Zoom party over Christmas.

Members of Janet Seymour’s School of Theatre Dance are continuing to learn despite the lockdown.

The school is holding regular Zoom classes after holding special festive workshops for students over Christmas.

The younger students were treated to a Frozen-themed party,  while there was an Elf the Musical workshop for the older students, while the adult learners enjoyed a 9 to 5 the Musical workshop, with West End performer Jenny Legg.

Janet said: “Almost 100 students took part over two days.

“We are back doing our regular Zoom classes now and very grateful for the continued support and enthusiastic dancing from all our students.

“We offer classes for children from the age of three to adults and have a great Jazz Fit class for adults but find that all members of the family are taking part from their homes. It’s a great way to keep fit and have fun together.

“Our students have worked really hard under these difficult circumstances and have successfully passed exams in between Lockdowns and also filmed auditions for prestigious dance schools for entry in September.”

Janet said the school would continue online until at least half-term in line with government guidelines.

“New students are always welcome,” she added.
