Residents at the Greyfriars retirement complex in Richmond were entertained last week by students from the Charlotte Jacqueline School of Dance.
Young dancers ranging from two to sixteen performed various short ballet routines and joined with residents to perform an exercise regularly done in the seated dance class at Greyfriars.
Alongside ballet technique the students also study character dances which are based on traditional folk dances from other European countries and they also performed a number of these.
The session was rounded off with afternoon tea, where students had chance to speak and relax with residents who reminisced about their own past experiences of dancing.
