A Leyburn designer has launched a new company offering bespoke home renovations and extensions.
Francesca Harmsworth is working with her father and well-known local builder David Harmsworth on the new venture.
Francesca, 26, studied at The Wensleydale School, before attending QE in Darlington and then Leeds College of Art.
After leaving college with a BA Hons degree in interior architecture, Francesca become a designer for Mark Wilkinson Furniture.
She said: “I wanted to carry on from the great work my dad was doing, and provide to clients my extension design skills that I have required working with Solarlux and other brands.
“I believe the extension and home improvements service lacks a personal bespoke experience for clients, this is what we aim to bring to the industry.”
Francesca added: “We have created Mayview Designs to give a personal bespoke design service for clients who wish to extend, or change their home.
“We provide home improvements such as aluminium winter gardens, orangeries, conservatories or something completely unique.
“We start with an initial meet and design visit, design development and costings, building, installation and planning if needed.
“Our drive is to give each and every client a personal experience with a specialist designer, and guide them through all of the options. Glass, timber, aluminium, UPVC, sliders, bi folds, fixed glazing, and the list goes on.
“We have no limits with product, so we will help the client decide and put the whole project together from start to finish.”
