Details announced of this year’s King’s Club in Wensleydale

The King’s Club will be held in Leyburn and Hawes over the summer holidays.

The first event will take place at Leyburn Methodist Church on Monday, July 28 from 11am to 3pm.

The club will then run at Hawes Market House from 11am to 3pm on Wednesday, July 30.

Organisers say there will be free fun crafts and activities, a short time of singing and worship, sandwich lunch and a warm welcome for accompanied children of all ages.

Reverend Gillian Lunn, assistant curate benefice of Leyburn and Bellerby, said: “This year’s theme is ‘for God so loved the world’, so there will be lots of activities to do with creation and the beauty of the world.

“Activities include cake decorating, candle rolling, seed planting and so much more. And there will be a gift bag for each child to take their activities home in.”
