Dales mobile disco owner DJ Wilko will play a live set from his front room this afternoon while he is in isolation.
The popular DJ, real name Andrew Wilkinson, posted a video on Facebook on Sunday of him playing tunes wearing his pyjamas.
But barring any technical difficulties, today’s set will be live.
The DJ, who lives in Wharfedale and is a regular at functions across Richmondshire, said he hoped the show might cheer people up.
“I’ve had a few symptoms, more like a cold than anything, so we’re not leaving the house at the moment.
“Everyone’s in the same boat. A few friends said I should play a few tunes and cheer people up so I’ll give it a go.”
Andrew said he had received a lot of requests following his first performance but would be saving those for another day.
Instead, he plans to play a set of old school house and trance.
