A dog show held at the Brompton-on-Swale branch of Millbry Hill raised more than £700 for charity.
The event held last Sunday was organised by store manager Hayden Tuck to raise money for the Animal Friends of Turkey (AFOT), a registered charity rescuing and rehoming abandoned and abused dogs from Turkey.
The event was attended by a number of dogs who had been rehomed by the charity to local families.
One adopted dog Lara won the best rescue dog having only arrived from Turkey 11 days ago.
Also attending the event was Millbry Hill buyer manager Grace Robinson who has recently started to raise funds for AFOT after her parents adopted Ronnie from the charity.who is in the picture !
£720 was raised at the event in total.
Millbry Hill also recently raised £1,500 with a sponsored walk for the charity.
