Dozens enter online snowman competition

Dozens of people have entered a snowman competition launched by a Catterick Garrison mum.

More than 80 entries were received for the impromptu contest started by Jodie McNab, from Warwick Close.

It started after her husband Graham and son Chris built a huge snowman outside their house yesterday.

Jodie posted a photo on a Facebook community group and encouraged others to do the same.

She said: “We just had a fantastic response — some of the snowmen were absolutely amazing.

“There was 80 snowmen in total. I picked three which was difficult and will give some chocolates to them.”
