Drivers are being warned to expect further delays at the A1(M) Scotch Corner roundabout following a collision which damaged traffic lights over the weekend.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed at Junction 53 while permanent repairs are carried out.
The lights have caused long delays today.
Motorists travelling through the busy junction are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys due to possible congestion and delays in the area.
@NationalHways please can someone look at the temporary traffic lights at the a66 scotch corner roundabout ? The people are not amused !!! Traffic bedlam- we cannot go on like this until the permanent lights are repaired!!!!
