
A drop-in events about the future of the Friarage Hospital will be held next week in Catterick Garrison.
Members of the public are welcome to call into the Catterick Leisure Centre any time between 6pm and 8pm on Monday to find out more about the challenges facing the hospital.
NHS officials say recruitment difficulties are currently impacting on a number of service areas at the Northallerton hospital including critical care, overnight anaesthetic cover and accident and emergency.

They say the purpose of the drop-in events is to gather feedback and thoughts on how South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust can deliver safe and sustainable services in the long-term from our Friarage Hospital site.
Around 160 people have already attended previous engagement events in Northallerton, Hawes and Richmond.
