Durham’s second XI will play Yorkshire’s second XI in a four-day fixture starting today.
Play will run from 11am to 6pm each day.
Durham will then play Kent send 11 the following week from Monday to Thursday.
It may seem strange for Durham to be playing a home fixture on a Yorkshire ground, particularly when one of the opponents will be Yorkshire.
Richmond and Durham have built up a close relationship over recent years with second team fixtures at Hurgill road becoming a regular occurrence.

Both Durham and Yorkshire are expected to field a mixture of senior and academy players.
In recent games Durham second have been captained by Graham Clark who has been a regular for the T20 team.
There may also be some NYSD players with recent experience of playing at Hurgill Road, for Durham Hatlepool players Jonny Bushnell and Harry Crawshaw have been second team regulars and for Yorkshire Hartlepool’s Yash Vagadia may feature.
Richmond regulars will probably also recall the outstanding innings of Ben McKinney for Hetton Lyons in the Royal London Cup fixture and who has also been in the runs for Durham seconds.
