A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision this morning.
The incident involving a motorbike and a car occurred at around 7.30am between Richmond and Catterick Garrison.
The incident happened on Richmond Road at the top of Longwood Bank, near the Sandbeck turn-off.
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed but has since reopened and traffic is moving past the scene.
