Emergency services called to accident between Richmond and Catterick Garrison

Police and firefighters were called to an accident between Richmond and Catterick last night.

The crash happened on Longwood Bank at about 1.40am

It involved a single vehicle.

The occupants were out when firefighters arrived and nobody was trapped.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the accident.

Crews from Richmond and Colburn attended the scene and made the vehicle safe.

Earlier the two crews were called to a tumble dryer fire.

The blaze happened at a house in Ypres Road, Catterick Garrison at about 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The fire was out on arrival and crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
